PHOTO STORIES: Castle Leslie, Ireland

Castle Leslie prominently stands amid one of the most beautiful areas of the northern Irish countryside. The heavy gray skies loom over the low rolling landscape, and the air is still and expectant. Barely a sound is heard. Originally the reward - bestowed by the British monarchy to the Leslie family - for their help and support during the suppression of Cromwell, it now sees itself transformed into a sophisticated business getaway for high level entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. Sammy Leslie initiated and maintains the venture. With a modest support staff at hand she keeps the restaurant, stables, and 'stately home' accommodation running smoothly. Allowing the guests make the most of the aristocratic splendor, and leafy isolation that Castle Leslie has to offer. Not to forget the many family stories told lovingly by the ninety four year old (2007) Sir John Leslie, great uncle of Sammy Leslie, who resides to this day, in the main building.
